Weekly Nudge – Giving Feedback, “Tell me more about…”
The next time you give feedback on someone else’s work let them give you their feedback first. Then if you need to ask questions, ask questions that help lead to a solution rather than pointing out the problem.
Here’s an example, instead of asking “Did you think about…” ask, “Tell me more about…”
Think: Understanding what the other person thinks…first…will create a safe and productive environment.
